A never-released Neil Young album will finally have the chance to be heard by fans, a Page Six report found. According to the outlet, Neil chose to put it away at the time because of a broken heart that he had endured many years ago.
In 2019, Neil Young claimed that his record, Homegrown, would finally be abandoned in 2020. It was originally recorded in the mid-1970s, however, fans will have a chance to listen to it on June 19, 2020. One of the songs featured is “Try”, which is now online.

According to the legendary artist, he wanted to publish it, but it was too painful to listen to. Neil says he wanted to “move on” with his life. For this reason, he hid the album away from his fans and the label.
Now that he thinks about it, Young said, he wishes he just published it. He said it was “really beautiful”. Neil went on to say that sometimes life hurts people, and for that reason, it would have been perfect to release him.
