Developer Matrix Software has announced that its magnificent RPG Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia will launch worldwide on June 25. The game will be on Nintendo Switch as a digital download if you want a physical copy of the game, you will need to purchase it through Limited Run Games.

The new trailer shows part of the beautiful art put in this title with a small overview of its mechanics of summoning monsters. The game promises a territory control battlefield as you battle your way through the land of Runersia in a turn-based tactical experience. After 20 years, Brigandine returns to a familiar fantasy world. Big names have come together to bring this world back to life. Screenwriter Kenji Terada, known for his work with Batman: Dark Tomorrow and Final Fantasy I, II and II, combines his strengths with artistic director and character designer Raita Kazama, the genius behind Puzzle & Dragons and Xenoblade Chronicles.

There are six countries on the continent of Runersia. They waged war and the only way to end it was to unify as a nation. It is up to the player to know how the legend will end when the players compete country by country and create an army of runic knights. As you travel through the country of Runersia, you will explore more than 40 locations, meet over 100 unique knights, and face more than 50 types of monsters across the country.

The game is made up of a fantasy world built around conquest. As you fight around the world in a traditional turn-based fashion, you will find hundreds of hours immersed in the superb campaign and conquest mode.
This game certainly contains tons of strategy, drama and knowledge. After 20 years of waiting, fans will finally be able to return to the country of Runersia in this next title. Let’s just hope they can get through the war that awaits them inside.
